How is the certification program structured?
You start your learning journey by completing two e-learning courses, the basic course and the advanced course, which you can access via the TÜV platform. Both have a modular structure so that you can easily integrate them into your daily work. You successfully complete the e-learning courses with an online test after each level.
After passing each online test, you can download your certificate of participation for the respective level from the TÜV platform. In China, you will receive your confirmation of participation by email.
Your learning journey ends with the expert training including certification.
The focus of the expert training is on applying the methods you have learned in the e-learning courses. Change Management methods that you have learned in the e-learning sessions.
In addition, the exchange with other participants from different industries and sectors as well as our trainer is valuable. The training is offered as face-to-face or remote training by our experienced change managers and concludes with the examination to become a "Certified Associate in Change Management with TÜV Rheinland-approved qualification".
This personal certification is recognized worldwide and is confirmed with a corresponding certificate.
The two e-learning courses can be completed independently of the certification.
Requirements for certification as a Certified Associate in Change Management with TÜV Rheinland-approved qualification
- You must have a general higher education entrance qualification or a specialized baccalaureate. Other certificates can be recognized.
- You have completed the basic training and advanced training, including passing both online tests. You must submit both certificates of participation as proof before the expert training.
- You must have attended at least 90% of the expert training.

The complete qualification program is available in German, English and Chinese.
Expert trainings are held as face-to-face trainings in Germany, Austria, China and Singapore. Online trainings as required in the respective time zones.
Dates for the expert training at the different locations can be found in our store. Depending on the pandemic situation, online training is also offered. The expert training has a maximum group size of 16 participants and a minimum of 7 participants.

Question 1: What is the Certified Associate in Change Management with TÜV Rheinland-approved qualification and how does this certification help me?
Answer: It is a professional certification for Change Management expertise awarded by PersCert TÜV. PersCert TÜV's certificates enjoy an excellent reputation in the business world. With the comprehensive methodology and expertise included in this qualification, the certification is a valuable added value in your competence portfolio and significantly increases your competence in Change Management projects. This certification is recognized internationally and across all industries.
Question 2: How long does it take to complete the basic and advanced training?
Answer: It takes about 3 to 3.5 hours to complete the basic training and 4 to 4.5 hours for the advanced training. The actual time depends on your availability and learning pace. Both levels consist of several e-learning modules, each lasting about 15 minutes. You can easily adapt the learning to your schedule and location. Preparation for the exam takes an average of 4 days.
Question 3: Will I receive certificates after completing the basic and/or advanced training?
Answer: Once you have passed the online self-test, you will receive a certificate of participation for the relevant training course. There is a certificate of attendance for the basic training and one for the advanced training. Official certification only takes place after the expert training.
Question 4: Can I claim PDUs for my PMP © PMI with the Change Management qualification?
Answer: Yes, you can apply for PDUs for basic and advanced training in the "Online or digital media" category. For expert training, you can apply for PDUs in the "Course or training" category. PDUs are recognized by the PMI. Please note that the recognition of PDUs depends exclusively on the decision of the PMI.
Question 5: How do I receive my confirmation of participation after completing the online training?
Answer : The confirmation of participation is automatically made available on MyCompetence after successful completion of the e-learning courses and can be downloaded there directly by you. Participants in the e-learning courses in China will receive their confirmation of participation by e-mail after passing the self-tests.
Question 6: Can I skip the basic and advanced training and just do the expert training?
Answer : To qualify for participation in the expert training course and achieve the TÜV examination standard, you must first attend the basic and advanced training courses and pass both online self-tests. The theoretical basis is essential for participation in the expert training, as the focus is on the practical application of the tools and gaining experience.
Question 7: What are the components of the final exam? What is the minimum I need to pass the exam?
Answer: The final exam is taken online by an examiner from TÜV Rheinland. The exam lasts 80 minutes and consists of 40 multiple choice questions. 67% of the possible points must be achieved in order to pass the exam and receive the certificate.
Question 8: How often is the expert training held?
Answer: The expert training courses are planned according to demand. In Europe, the venue alternates between Frankfurt am Main, Vienna and online. Further training courses will be held in Beijing, Shanghai and Singapore. The training is also offered alternately in the local language and English. In the event of coronavirus-related restrictions, the training sessions will take place online.
Question 9: Can I complete the two e-learning courses now and the expert training at a later date?
Answer: Yes. It is possible to complete the e-learning first and then take part in the expert training at a later date. However, as the expert training and certification are based on the e-learning, participants must be familiar with the content of the e-learning when they take part in the expert training and certification.
Question 10: How long is the certification valid?
Answer: Change Management Qualification is a practice-oriented training course. To ensure the quality of the certification, it is valid for two years. After two years, practical applications and further involvement with Change Management must be demonstrated in order to renew the certification.
Question 11: What happens if I don't pass the exam?
Answer : In the event of failure, the participant can apply to retake the failed part of the examination for a fee at the next possible opportunity, but no earlier than one month after the result is announced. It is also possible to receive a confirmation of participation if no further examination attempt is made.

Question 13: How many people already have this certification?
Answer: The certification program was launched in October 2020 and currently over 60 people have already been certified and new graduates are being added every month. In the coming years, we plan to certify one thousand people in public training courses and in-house training courses for companies.
Question 14: How many participants are there in the expert training courses?
Answer: The expert training has a minimum number of 7 participants per training and a maximum group size of 16 participants to ensure an optimal learning experience for all participants.
Question 15: How long does it take until I receive certificates after the expert training?
Answer: There are regular dates for the expert training including certification. TÜV Rheinland issues the certificate within one month of the successful final examination.
Question 16: Is there a registration deadline for the expert trainings?
Answer: The registration deadline for expert training courses is 14 days before the training date. This period of time is intended to ensure that all participants have completed both e-learning courses and passed the online test before the expert training.
