Reality Trainings
Trainings are ten a penny. And many service providers claim to offer special or super trainings. Reality Trainings are different.
However, they are not different because we claim them to be different. They are unique because more than 5,000 participants say so.
How come so many executives and project managers are of this opinion? Reality Trainings trigger off higher action competence and they lead to what we call "mind change". This leaves clear traces in practice. The trainings not only make a permanent impression, the effect, too, is permanent.
How do we generate these effects? In contrast to role plays, the participants find themselves in a company - with executives, products, an own company history, which doesn't differ from reality at all. The participants take over consulting activities for several days, under enormous pressure, and they interact directly with the company's key players. It is only at the end of the training that they are "withdrawn" from this virtual world again. Each participant gets extended feedback on his actions - from different points of view and from different people. If, for example, negotiations go wrong, the client backs out in reality. Reality Trainings teach the causes. That is why the participants unanimously state: "We wouldn't have thought how hard, but also how effective this training would be. You won't forget the things you've learnt here."
Where Reality Formats apply
- As a 1:1 educational environment for executives who want to sustainably improve their actions and behaviour. Qualified feedback by actors and coaches fosters individual developments and activates the perception of one's own strengths and weaknesses.
- As a realistic testing environment for organisational change processes. The Reality Training enables you to recognise problem situations. Risks can be eliminated before they occur in practice. Core effects include: the gaining of competences and poise with changes in organisations, no matter if it is about people, processes or structures.
- As an assessment process for executives - for both internal and external staffing. Realistic company environments and a high amount of pressure ensure that candidates immediately forget they are in an assessment process. Like in scouting for soccer, new players are not only invited to serve a trial session, but they have to give proof of their abilities in a try-out under real conditions. This is how the risk of "purchasing errors" is minimised.
We have been developing Reality Trainings with our clients for more than ten years now. The format has been awarded numerous prices. We would appreciate developing specially-designed solutions with you and for you. Please contact us.
